Vietnam, Saudi Arabia work to promote cooperation
(VOVWORLD) - Bilateral ties between Vietnam and Saudi Arabia have developed well over the past few years, Vietnam’s Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son and Saudi Arabian counterpart Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Al Saud agreed during the latter’s visit to Vietnam.

The two sides agreed to increase the exchange of delegations at all levels, and continue coordinating closely and supporting each other within international organizations like the UN. They affirmed their support of multilateralism and the settlement of disagreements through dialogue on the basis of international law.
The two ministers agreed to implement cooperative mechanisms like the inter-governmental committee and political consultation between the two Foreign Ministries, accelerate negotiation of an agreement to encourage and protect investment, and promote people-to-people exchanges.
