Vietnam seeks breakthrough policies for special administrative-economic zones
(VOVWORLD) - A conference took place in Nha Trang city on Tuesday to collect voters’ opinions on the draft law on special administrative economic zone.
In his address, National Assembly Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu said the draft law will be discussed at an NA session scheduled for next May. He said the law will create a legal framework and momentum for investors in special administrative-economic zones. Special mechanisms are therefore required, he added.
“We need special mechanism and policies to create breakthroughs and momentum for investors in special administrative-economic zones. But we have to ensure that they are in line with the Constitution and international norms while having more advantages than the current laws,” Luu noted.
