(VNA) - SIAL (Salon International de l'Alimentation), the world’s most important food and beverage exhibition, which is held biennially, opened yesterday in Paris. This year’s event has brought together 5,800 enterprises from 200 countries and territories, including 16 Vietnamese companies.

The European Union’s 27 countries are already Vietnam’s top market. The Vietnam – EU free trade agreement currently under discussion will create even more export opportunities for Vietnam. The Vietnamese enterprises attending this fair come from different economic sectors with high capacity in food and beverage production, export, and trade promotion nationwide. The exhibition will end Thursday.
