Vietnam seeks way to boost vegetable, fruit export
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam boasts huge potential for fruit and vegetable exports, according to a forum on expanding markets for farm produce and developing logistics for agriculture and rural areas.
The forum in Dong Thap province on Tuesday was told that Vietnamese fruit and vegetables were exported to 70 countries and territories this year, earning 3.4 billion USD. However, revenue makes up only 1% of the global market. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development said that priority will be given to product processing and expanding markets.
