(VOVworld) - The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs will expand its labor market to Europe besides its traditional partners in Asia and Middle East.
Deputy Administrator of Overseas Workers Department, Tong Hai Nam, says Vietnam plans to send 100,000 workers abroad this year: “We will send more health workers and palliative care staff to study and work in Germany and Japan as part of the national target program on job creation. This will promote exports of highly skilled workers, especially in healthcare, electronics and biotechnology to Europe.”
The formation of the ASEAN Community this year will allow free movement of workers through mutually recognized agreements. The eligible careers include accountants, architects, health workers and tourism staff. Highly skilled workforce with foreign language proficiency will enjoy more freedom of movement to work in other ASEAN countries.
