Vietnam sends sympathy over flooding in Laos
(VOVWORLD) - Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, and National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan have sent massages of sympathy to their Lao counterparts over the losses in humans and property caused by prolonged rain falls and flood in central and southern provinces of Laos.
Flooding in Salavanh Province has inundated 75 of the 124 villages.

In their massages, the Vietnamese leaders expressed concerns over the ongoing floods in Laos, extended their most sincere and deepest sympathy to the Lao leaders and people, particularly local administrations and families affected by floods. They said they believe that under the leadership and close watch of the Lao Party, State, government, and National Assembly, the Lao people will overcome the current difficulties to stabilize their lives soon.
