Vietnam sets 20 billion USD wood export target by 2025
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam has set a wood export target of from 14 to 14.5 billion USD for next year and from 18 to 20 billion USD for 2025.

At a conference in Nghe An province on Tuesday, Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung said the Government considers wood and forest product processing a key contributor to export revenue. Vietnam intends to become one of the world’s top timber exporters. According to Mr. Dung, Vietnam is working on a plan to expand its wood markets and brand its wood products.
