Vietnam, Swaziland establish diplomatic ties
(VOVworld)- Representatives of Vietnam and Swaziland have signed an agreement to establish diplomatic ties at the ambassadorial level. The document was signed in New York on Tuesday by Le Hoai Trung, ambassador and permanent representative of Vietnam to the UN, and Zwelethu Mnisi, ambassador and permanent representative of Swaziland to the UN. Both diplomats hailed the significance of the event and expressed hopes that Vietnam and Swaziland would develop mutually beneficial relations, while contributing to consolidating peace and security in Asia, Africa and the rest of the world. They agreed to exchange diplomatic representatives at the ambassadorial level and fully observe the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.
