(VOVworld) - The Vietnam-Sweden Friendship Association (VSFA) will do its utmost to promote friendship and cooperation between the two countries, said the Association’s President Hoang The Lien at a gathering in Hanoi on Wednesday to commemorate the 30^th anniversary of the death of Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme.

Lien highlighted this meeting as a chance for Vietnam and Sweden to look back on their bilateral ties and positive cooperation as well as the great contributions made by the late Prime Minister to their relations.

Sweden’s Ambassador to Vietnam, Pereric Hogberg, said he hoped that friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Sweden would continue to flourish in the future.
