Vietnam, Thailand strengthen Buddhist relationship
(VOVworld) – President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan received a delegation of Annam Kiya Buddhists and overseas Vietnamese from Thailand in Hanoi Monday.

Mr. Nhan said 21 Vietnamese pagodas in Thailand have demonstrated the two nations’ cultural interaction and friendship. He said he expected the monks contributing more to the two countries’ Buddhism. The delegation visited the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and the Thai Embassy in Vietnam.
