Vietnam to attend World Radiocommunication Conference in Geneva
(VOVworld) – Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Pham Hong Hai is leading a Vietnamese delegation to attend the 2015 World Radiocommunication Conference in Geneva.
The Vietnamese delegation proposed that the conference focus on the use of frequencies in Vietnam and the world to guarentee Vietnam’s interests in frequency allocation and planning. World radiocommunication conferences (WRC) are held every three to four years to review, and, if necessary, revise the Radio Regulations, the international treaty governing the use of the radio-frequency spectrum and the geostationary-satellite and non-geostationary-satellite orbits.
