Vietnam to enhance technology application in energy development
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam needs to promote technology application, particularly achievements from the 4.0 Industrial Revolution, in developing energy, according to an online conference held in Hanoi on Wednesday.

Vietnam’s economy is growing rapidly, delegates said, which increases energy demand. Nghiem Vu Khai, Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, underlined the economical and efficient use of energy as Vietnam uses outdated facilities which consume a great deal of energy.
“In order to ensure energy security and environment protection, using energy economically and effectively is crucial. We should increase the proportion of renewable energy and use less fossil fuel like oil and coal. We need a clear plan and we must promote clean technology.”
