Vietnamese Commercial Counselor in France Nguyen Canh Cuong told VOV: French state agencies and companies have adjusted their strategy due to increasing cost of domestic investment and operation which has lowered the competitiveness of the country’s businesses. Meanwhile, Southeast Asian emerging markets have won advantages for their expanded market capacity, huge consumer purchasing power, lower operation cost, and open policies. These factors have encouraged French enterprises to reach out for new business opportunities and partners.
The Vietnam Trade Office in France suggested that Vietnamese enterprises should quickly adopt advanced technologies to heighten products’ quality to meet the French demand.
