Vietnam to focus on raising cattle
(VOVWORLD) - Raising cattle will be a key direction of Vietnam’s breeding industry for the next 10 years, said Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Xuan Cuong at a working session with Hoa Binh provincial authorities on Sunday.

Mr. Cuong said that raising cattle following the closed industrial scale is a step in sustainable development and new-style rural area building. He said this will help prevent the spread of African swine fever and create a means of subsistence for livestock households.
“I believe we will build effective cattle raising models to cope with African swine fever and change the face of Vietnam’s breeding industry in the long term,” said Minister Cuong.
