Vietnam to remove health declaration for domestic travel: health minister
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam will remove the requirement of a domestic health declaration because epidemiological tracing is no longer necessary as the country is returning to normalcy, Health Minister Nguyen Thanh Long said at a Tuesday online meeting on the organization of COVID-19 vaccination.

Long said the medical declaration for air passengers will be in line with international regulations, which require basic information, not for any other purposes.
According to the Health Ministry, the pandemic is under control in Vietnam with a sharp decline in the number of community cases across the country over the past 30 days, and the number of deaths, hospitalizations, and severe and critical cases have all dropped significantly.
But the Ministry warns that the disease will keep developing unpredictably in the world, including the possible emergence of new strains that spread faster and are more dangerous.
