Vietnam tourism promoted in Switzerland
(VOVWORLD) - A Vietnam tourism promotion program has been launched in Zurich, sponsored by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Vietnam Airlines, and the Embassy of Vietnam in Switzerland.

The event was attended by more than 100 representatives of Swiss and European tourism and economic development agencies.
General Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Nguyen Van Tuan said Vietnam is becoming a popular destination for international tourists thanks to its cultural and natural diversity and hospitable people. Last year, Vietnam welcomed more than 33,000 Swiss tourists, up 5% from 2016.
Switzerland’s Edelweiss Air said it plans to launch direct flights between Zurich and Ho Chi Minh City in November.
