Vietnam treasures practical, timely help of international friends during COVID-19 fight
(VOVWORLD) - Since the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, Vietnam has received valuable assistance in medical supplies from people and Governments of foreign countries, as well as international organizations.

The heartfelt assistance has contributed to Vietnam’s success in fighting the pandemic, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Amid the recent surge of infection cases and the emergence of new strains which are more dangerous and rapidly spreading, the Government of Vietnam has determined vaccine access and widespread inoculation a crucial, urgent solution.
On that basis, vaccine diplomacy has been implemented and achieved important results with Vietnam having received more than 8 million of the total committed 150 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines through purchase negotiations and aid.
The Party, State, Government and people of Vietnam treasures the practical and timely help of international friends in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
