National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue received Laotian Ambassador to Vietnam, Sengphet Houngboungnuang on May 13, 2021

During the meeting on Thursday, Chairman Hue congratulated and praised Lao’s successful organization of the 11^th National Congress of the People’s Revolutionary Party and wished for Lao’s early pandemic control to boost socio-economic development. He reiterated Vietnam’s consistent policy of always respecting and prioritizing its special solidarity and friendship with Laos and their comprehensive cooperation. Both countries have maintained high-level dialogues and exchanges as well as cooperation in all forms despite the resurgence of Covid-19 pandemic. Chairman Hue called for more cooperation between the two legislative bodies in law making, supervision, macro-economic management and budgeting.
