Their bilateral ties have made unexpected achievements during this period and there is a potential to lift the ties it to a new height, Vietnamese Ambassador to Turkey Do Son Hai said in a recent interview with Vietnam News Agency correspondents.

To promote the relationship, Hai called on the two countries to boost activities to introduce their peoples and markets to each other, make full use of technologies and media for promotional programs, give the two business communities easier access to each other's markets, design specific support activities and policies, and accelerate the establishment of Vietnam-Turkey joint venture companies, beginning in the agriculture-forestry-seafood sector.

Hai said top priority should be given to organizing the 8th session of the Vietnam-Turkey Joint Economic and Trade Committee.
