Vietnam, UAE forge closer trade, investment ties
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam is calling for UAE investments in logistics, renewable energy, oil and gas, agricultural processing, and industrial parks in the Southeast Asian country.

Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh and UAE Minister of Economy Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri co-chaired a Vietnam-UAE business forum in Hanoi on Monday. Minister Anh said Vietnam treasures and wants to promote economic and investment cooperation with the UAE.
“We welcome UAE investments in infrastructure development, industry, technology, and start-ups. Vietnam is ready to serve as a bridge linking the UAE with ASEAN and other markets covered by free trade agreements it has signed,” he said.
Minister Al Mansouri applauded Vietnam’s business and investment potential, calling on both sides to work harder to connect the two countries businesses.
