As the ASEAN Chair, Vietnam has initiated various measures in Covid-19 control. Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh said that ASEAN Economic Ministers and other ASEAN leaders are focusing on efficient response to the pandemic and economic recovery.

He added:“It’s time to show our robust efforts by the ASEAN and its partners by initiating better policies in labor, investment, market and finance to help restructure the supply chain and ensure more resilience and sustainability to new threats in the future. We will strengthen online connectivity in bilateral and multilateral mechanisms when Vietnam participates to ensure direct and practical outcomes for pandemic recovery.”
