(VOVworld) – Vietnam hailed the US organization “Veterans for Peace” (VFP) in its support for Vietnam, especially in addressing the consequences of Agent Orange/dioxin, said Nguyen The Luc, Vice President and Secretary General of the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange. At Friday’s meeting with the VFP delegation, led by its Vice Director Chuck Searcy, Luc said Vietnam valued the organization’s support for Vietnamese Agent Orange/dioxin victims’ lawsuits against US chemical companies. Both sides reiterated their continued cooperation and mutual assistance in addressing the aftermath of the US chemical war in Vietnam.
