Vietnam, US launch 21 million USD project on trade facilitation
(VOVWORLD) -A technical support project on trade facilitation worth 21 million USD was launched in Hanoi on Wednesday.

The project funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) will be implemented in 5 years. It aims to reform, standardize, harmonize, and simplify administrative procedures in import-export, in line with the World Trade Organization’s Trade Facilitation Agreement and the Vietnamese government’s policy on reforming specialized inspection of import-export goods. Addressing the launch ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue reiterated the Vietnamese government’s determination to improve the investment and business environment, enhance national competitiveness, and create a level playing field for the business community.
