Vietnam, US seek stronger economic, trade, investment partnership
(VOVWORLD) - Politburo member and head of the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission Tran Tuan Anh on Thursday encouraged US investors to expand operation and increase research and development and innovation activities in Vietnam to help the country become a center of regional and global value chains.

Mr. Anh had a meeting in Hanoi on Thursday with representatives from the US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC) and 28 US businesses to strengthen investment and business cooperation between the two countries in health care, green and renewable energy, financial services, the digital economy, science and technology, and post-pandemic economic recovery.
The USABC representatives affirmed their commitment to working closely with Vietnam toward a stronger comprehensive partnership between the two countries, particularly in trade and investment.
