(VOVworld) - Vietnam and Uzbekistan have discussed concrete measures to boost their cooperation in various fields during an ongoing political consultation at deputy foreign ministerial level in Hanoi. During the 4-day event from Wednesday, the two sides exchanged opinions on many regional and international issues. They shared the view that the Vietnam – Uzbekistan political and diplomatic ties have seen fine developments while agreeing to enhance the exchange of delegations at all levels. They agreed to support each other in the international arena, particularly through the United Nations.
At the event, both countries agreed to intensify economic-trade cooperation by improving the operation of relevant inter-governmental committees.
They will increase their collaboration in strong fields such as oil and gas, textile and garments, footwear, aquaculture and animal husbandry.
