The Summit, taking place from May 4-6, is attended by more than 500 delegates who are high-ranking representatives of countries, women's organizations, and female leaders of the world's leading corporations and businesses.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Vice President Xuan welcomed the theme of this year's Summit, which she said is encouraging women around the world to strive to unlock their potential, grasp trends, learn to succeed, and contribute to society in a changing world.

Vice President Xuan highlighted Vietnam's achievements in gender equality and women's empowerment, affirming that Vietnam's policies have been creating favorable conditions for women in business, encouraging women to participate in science, technology and engineering to capitalize their strengths and mastery.

The Vietnamese delegation joined plenary and thematic discussions on assessing emerging challenges and trends in the region and globally.
