Vietnam wants to boost cooperation with Cambodia
(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung said Vietnam wants to deepen cooperation with Cambodia at a reception for President of the Cambodian Senate Samdech Say Chhum on Wednesday. He urged both countries to boost cooperation in economics, trade, investment, and tourism and said he hopes Cambodia will support Vietnamese businesses to expand their operations and investments in Cambodia. Prime Minister Dung said both countries should work closely together in border delineation and marker planting to build a joint border of peace, friendship, stability, cooperation, and development. He asked relevant Cambodian agencies to settle the issue of legal status for Vietnamese people in Cambodia.
The Cambodian official said the Cambodian Senate supports efforts by both governments to promote bilateral comprehensive cooperation and will work closely with Vietnam in border delineation and marker planting.
