He noted that Vietnam speaks highly of the African Union’s position and prestige in the political, security, economic, and social life of the continent.
Vietnamese people, Mr. Vu said, are heartened by Africa's remarkable achievements that have been recognized by the United Nations and the international community.
The achievements are demonstrated by the AU officially becoming a permanent member of the Group of 20 (G20), he said.
Moroccan Ambassador to Vietnam and Dean of the Group of African Ambassadors Jamale Chouaibi said he believes that with Vietnam’s advantages and experiences plus Africa’s huge demands, both sides will have great cooperation potential, particularly in food, energy and health security towards a common goal of building a prosperous and united world.
