Vietnam wins gold at WICO 2019
(VOVWORLD) -All eight Vietnamese student teams won gold medals at the World Invention Creativity Olympic (WICO) 2019 which concluded in South Korea on the weekend.

The organizing board also presented an Excellence Award to the Vietnamese delegation. Two of the Vietnamese teams earned the Special Awards by the Indonesian Invention and innovation Promotion Association (INNOPA) and Malang Patent Development Research Institute of Indonesia.
WICO is an annual invention and creativity contest organized by the Korea University Invention Association (KUIA) for secondary and high school students worldwide to present their innovations that can be applied in reality.
This year’s event drew teams from 30 countries, including the US, Japan, China and Canada. The Vietnamese delegation attended WICO 2019 with 26 students whose topics focused on the biomedical, biochemical, physical and environmental fields.
