Vietnam wishes to strengthen multifaceted cooperation with Poland

(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam treasures and desires to step up comprehensive cooperation with Poland, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son said at a reception in Hanoi on Wednesday for Anna Krystyna Radwan-Röhrenschef, Undersecretary of State at the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

FM Son suggested the two countries intensify all-level exchange visits to consolidate political trust and deepen mutual understanding, thus creating a foundation for stepping up and expanding cooperation in other areas. In particular, they should continue to effectively maintain the regular political consultation at the deputy foreign ministerial level.

Highlighting the Polish Government’s active support for the Vietnamese people there, he called on all-level authorities of the European nation to continue offering optimal conditions for the community to settle down, practically contribute to the local society and economy, and perform their role as a bridge for bilateral friendship and comprehensive cooperation.

He also proposed Poland ratify the EU - Vietnam Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA) to facilitate equal and mutually beneficial investment partnerships.

Radwan-Röhrenschef pledged to boost Polish ministries and sectors’ coordination with Vietnam to further increase the effectiveness of bilateral cooperation in multiple areas.
