Vietnam works with WB in environmental protection, climate change respponse
(VOVWORLD) - Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Hong Ha and World Bank representatives discussed cooperation in environment protection and ways to respond to climate change and protect natural resources.

The talk took place on Friday at the World Bank’s headquarters in New York as part of the Vietnamese Prime Minister’s working visit to the US.
World Bank officials spoke highly of Vietnam’s efforts and environmental challenges Vietnam is facing and expressed concerns about the implementation of the action plans to realize Vietnam’s commitments made at the the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26).
World Bank senior leader pledged to continue coordination with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in consulting the Vietnamese government to carry out the commitments and action plans.
On the same day, Minister Ha held a working visit at the headquarters of to the World Widelife Fund in the US.
