(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese Embassy in Argentina held the “Vietnam-Argentina trade forum” on Thursday to help South American businesses understand about the Vietnamese economy and the two countries’ economic, trade, and investment potentials.

Opening the forum, Vietnamese Ambassador to Argentina Nguyen Dinh Thao highlighted the expansion of bilateral cooperation in all fields. Thao said businesses will be provided more information about trade opportunities with Vietnam.
Carlos Restaino, President of Argentina’s Commission for Integration and Southern Common Market, said Vietnam is a prioritized market in Argentina’s export policy, one of the most important partners in Asia, and the 3rd largest exporter of Argentinean products in the region. Restaino reviewed the results of the 5th Intergovernmental meeting on economic-trade and science-technology cooperation held in Hanoi, and the 7th Political Consultation Conference between Vietnam and Argentina last December in Buenos Aires.
