(VOVworld) - The Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association on Tuesday held a meeting in Ho Chi Minh City to review its operations and development. The association’s central committee issued a statement condemning China’s illegal placement of oil rig Haiyang-981 in Vietnam’s exclusive economic zone and continental shelf. Participants raised more than 1,100 USD to support soldiers who are defending Vietnam’s sovereignty in the Truong Sa and Hoang Sa Archipelagos.
