Vietnam-China Bac Luan II bridge inaugurated
(VOVWORLD) -The Vietnam-China Bac Luan (Beilun) Bridge II was inaugurated in Mong Cai city, Quang Ninh province, on Wednesday. The ceremony was attended by Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh and Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Hong Xiaoyong.

The project aims to ease the traffic burden of the Bac Luan Bridge I, promote trade and tourism cooperation between Quang Ninh and China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and create development momentum for Mong Cai city.
The four-lane bridge measures 155m long on the Vietnamese side and 460m on the Chinese side. Built at a cost of nearly 15 million USD, the Bac Luan Bridge II is an important project to realize the Vietnam-China cooperation initiative of two corridors, one economic belt.
