Vietnam-Czech Republic cooperation boosted
(VOVWORLD) - Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan has urged Vietnam and the Czech Republic to continue collaboration in defense-security, education-training, energy, environmental protection, science-technology, healthcare, and agriculture.

Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan has urged Vietnam and the Czech Republic to continue collaboration in defense-security, education-training, energy, environmental protection, science-technology, healthcare, and agriculture. At a meeting with Vice Chairman of the Czech Parliament’s Chamber of Deputies Vojtech Filip in Hanoi on Monday, Ms. Ngan suggested a coordinated effort to organize political, cultural, and people-to-people exchange activities, toward the 70th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties in 2020. She called for more two-way trade commensurate with the two countries’ potential and expectations.
Mr. Filip urged continued cooperation to bolster relations between thww two legislatures.
Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam National Assembly Tong Thi Phong met with Vojtech Filip and urged the two sides to continue working to expand bilateral cooperation.
Mr. Filip congratulated Vietnam on winning a UN Security Council non-permanent seat for 2020-2021, and hoped Vietnam, in its new role, will continue tackling international issues. He said he hopes more inter-agency sessions will be held to arrange for Vietnamese nurses to work in the Czech Republic.
