(VOVworld) – Radio France International on Tuesday ran an article describing Vietnam as a destination for the production relocation phenomenon. The article said that in recent years Vietnam had become a country in Asia that has received the most multinational groups who have shifted their production from other nations.

These groups operate mainly in high-tech industries such as electronics and information technology. A number of multinational groups such as Intel, LG, Nokia, Samsung, Canon, and Foxconn have set up production and assembly facilities in Vietnam. The article’s author Arnaud Dubus attributes the shift of multinational groups to Vietnam to its abundant labor force, training quality, preferential tax policies, long coast, and well-equipped seaports.
