Vietnam and Palestine have a tradition of solidarity and mutual suppport

(VOVworld)- Vietnamese ambassador to Palestine Dao Thanh Chung has presented his credentials to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. Following the ceremony on Friday, the ambassador Chung had a brief exchange of talks with the Palestinian President on measures to boost bilateral ties. He conveyed an invitation to visit Vietnam from President Truong Tan Sang to Mr Mahmoud Abbas. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas thanked Vietnam for backing his country in winning the status of a non-member observer state in the United Nations. He wished for more bilateral cooperation in politics, economics and tourism.
