(VOVworld) – On Wednesday, Vietnam’s Ambassador to Tanzania and Uganda, Vo Thanh Nam presented his credentials to President Yoweri Museveni.

At the reception, Ambassador Nam extended regards from President Truong Tan Sang to the Ugandan President and conveyed a message from the President inviting him to visit Vietnam.

President Museveni thanked President Sang for his invitation, expressed his admiration for Vietnam’s renewal process, and said that he hoped to learn from Vietnam’s experience in socio-economic development.

Ambassador Nam said that during his term he will work to contribute to the consolidation of the bilateral friendship and cooperation between the two governments and peoples, especially in the exchange of delegations and cooperation in economics, trade, and investment.

The Vietnamese diplomat said that he hoped both nations will continue to support each other at international forums, organizations, and facilitate favorable conditions for their business communities to do investment and trade activities.
