At a virtual meeting with Indian Ambassador to Vietnam Pranay Verma on Tuesday, Minister of Information and Communications and VIFA Chairman Nguyen Manh Hung expressed his sympathy for the Indian government and people over their difficulties in the fight against the pandemic.

Mr. Hung said he believes that under the leadership of the Indian Government and with the solidarity of the entire people, the pandemic in India will be under control soon.

He said VIFA handed over 100,000 anti-bacteria masks to Indian people.

Mr. Verma said the move reflects the traditional friendship and cooperation between the two nations and pledged to use the gifted ventilators effectively.
