(VOVworld) - More than ten Vietnamese businesses are taking part in the High Point Market, the world’s largest home furnishings trade fair, in the US state of North Carolina. At the 5-day expo which will last on Wednesday, Vietnam is showcasing its wooden furniture on an exhibition space of more than 320 sq. m. Via the National Trade Promotion Programme under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, a number of Vietnamese enterprises have attended the annual High Point Market expo since 2003, which has contributed to the country’s reputation for producing high-quality home furnishings for the US market. Vietnam-US export turnover for furnishings reached 2 billion USD in 2013, a 12.2 percent year-on-year increase.
