Vietnamese citizens stranded in Angola, Myanmar, fly home
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese authorities, the Vietnamese Embassy in Angola, and national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines on Saturday brought home 350 Vietnamese people in Angola.

Passengers onboard included minors under 18, laborers with expired visas and contracts, and others in difficult circumstances. Upon their arrival at Van Don International Airport in Quang Ninh province, all passengers and crew members had their health checked and were sent to quarantine as COVID-19 regulations.
340 Vietnamese in Myanmar boarded two similar repatriations flight by VietJet the same day to return home. Many of them were pregnant women and old people with underlying health problems. They landed at Can Tho International Airport in Can Tho city, followed by health-checkups and quarantine.
