Vietnamese cuisine promoted in India
(VOVworld) - A Vietnamese cuisine promotion event was held by the Embassy of Vietnam at Trident Gurgaon Hotel in Haryana State, India, on Saturday.
Addressing the event, Ambassador Thanh said the dishes seen in Vietnamese cuisine are extremely diverse. He said he hoped the event would bring Vietnamese cuisine closer to Indian people and other foreign friends.
Chefs Doan Van Tuan and Nguyen Huy Hoang of the Furama Resort Danang introduced to the guests a wide range of Vietnam traditional foods, including “chicken with piper lolot leaves”, “rice noodle rolls”, “spring rolls”, and “pho”.
The hotel has already designed a handbook that introduces Vietnam’s most popular dishes along with its landscapes and people. The hotel also includes Vietnamese dishes on its menu.
