(VOVworld) - Hundreds of Vietnamese living in Canada have attended an art program to welcome Tet, the Vietnamese Lunar New Year.


The program was co-organised by the Vietnamese Embassy in Canada and the Canada-Vietnam Society with assistance from the State Committee on Overseas Vietnamese Affairs and the Toronto city government. Artists from Vietnam’s Youth Theatre were invited to perform at the event.
According to Vietnamese Ambassador to Canada Nguyen Duc Hoa, the program enriched the cultural life of Vietnamese expatriates at the time of Tet and boosted Vietnam-Canada relations.
