(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese Association in Stockholm and adjacent areas staged demonstrations to protest China’s illegal placement of oil rig Haiyang-981 within Vietnam’s Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).

A similar protest also took place in Stockholm last week. 300 Vietnamese and Philippines students raised Vietnam’s national flags and banners to show their anger. During the march, organizers delivered a speech in Vietnamese, English, and Swedish to denounce China’s blatant violation of international law.
