(VOVworld) - President Tran Dai Quang on Thursday discussed with visiting Singaporean Prime MInister Lee Hsien Loong ways to enhance Vietnam-Singapore economic, trade and investment partnerships.

President Quang said the solid political relationship has helped step up bilateral cooperation in economics, defence, security, science-technology, and education-training, and enhance peopleto-people exchange. He said he hoped that the Singaporean government will encourage Singaporean businesses to invest in and expand hi-tech and food industry parks in Thanh Hoa province and the software park in Da Nang and build another VSIP in Quang Tri province.
PM Lee said Singapore wants to work with Vietnam to build hi-tech and software parks.
The same day, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong paid a courtesy visit to Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong and met National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.
