Mr. Dung said the two sides should effectively use cooperative mechanisms and enhance communications and trade promotions to introduce business opportunities in their countries. He asked Yunnan province to import more Vietnamese goods, particularly agro-forestry and aquaculture products, to sustainably expand bilateral trade.
He said both sides should strictly abide by signed documents on border management, work closely to combat crime, smuggling, and terrorism, and improve labour management at border areas. He underlined that trade facilitation at border gates is needed to build a Vietnam-China border of peace, stability, cooperation, and development.
Vice Governor Li Jiang said Yunnan always treasures ties with Vietnam and its localities and stands ready to join hands with Vietnam to deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two nations.
