(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s fresh lychees are selling like hot cakes in Australia though they are more expensive than many other types of fruit – between 13 and 14 AUD per kilo.

Since Australia began importing Vietnam’s fresh lychees in 2015, Australian consumers have had a chance to taste the fruit during the harvest season.
Hoang Luat, owner of a chain of supermarkets selling Asian products in Western Australia, says: “Vietnamese lychees are fresh because they are transported by air. It takes 4 days from harvest to our supermarkets.”
Vietnamese lychees have been exported to more than 30 countries and territories around the world.
