The proposal document presented by Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan to the National Assembly on June 8 said that the UK's accession to CPTPP will contribute to strengthening Vietnam's role and position in international economic cooperation and bilateral cooperation with the UK and expand market opportunities for Vietnamese goods.
The UK's accession to CPTPP will connect the Asia-Pacific region and the Americas with Europe, elevate CPTPP from a regional agreement to a global agreement, and contribute to peace, stability, and prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region.
