Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to Malaysia Nguyen Hong Thao expressed his confidence that the display will contribute to the two countries’ closer friendship and cooperation, particularly in culture and tourism. This exhibition kicks off a series of activities held by the embassy to mark the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-Malaysia diplomatic ties next year, which will be followed by art performances by Vietnamese artists in Penang and Kedah next week.
