Vietnamese, South African parliaments boost cooperation in external relations
(VOVworld) – Deputy head of the National Assembly’s External relations Committee Ngo Manh Duc visited South Africa this week.
During his visit he met with a number of South African officials including Siphosezwe Masango, head of the South African Parliament’s External Relations Committee to discuss development, legislation and cooperation within the framework of the Inter-Parliamentary Union. South African parliamentarians say they are impressed with Vietnam’s achievements and they hope bilateral relations will be elevated to the level of strategic partnership. Mr. Duc held a working session with Vietnamese embassy staff on law enforcement as it pertains to Vietnamese representative agencies abroad, the protection of Vietnamese citizens, and economic diplomacy.
